Ms. Shaw is a graduate of Boston University (B.A., cum laude 1988) and received her law degree from American University – Washington College of Law (J.D. 1991).
Ms. Shaw is an experienced attorney with a litigation practice in the areas of employment law, lawyer's professional liability and other professional liability. She represents employers in wrongful termination, sexual harassment, breach of contract and other employment-related cases. Ms. Shaw counsels employers with regard to all aspects of employment law, including hiring and termination practices, employment handbooks and policies, internal investigations, employment separation agreements and disability accommodations in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. She also defends firms and individuals sued for malpractice and breach of ethical or professional duties.
