Michael S. Yu earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College, Wallace E. Carroll School of Management (B.S. 2004) and received his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law (J.D. 2007). While in law school, Mr. Yu was selected to be a Teaching Assistant and led a research project on the discriminatory use of credit reports in employment for the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. He also worked for a commercial law firm in Boston and clerked for Associate Justice R. Marc Kantrowitz of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Prior to joining Howd & Ludorf, LLC, Mr. Yu served as legal research Law Clerk to the Judges of the Connecticut Superior Court in various jurisdictions, including Waterbury, New Haven, Bridgeport and Hartford. He also practiced at a commercial litigation firm in West Hartford, representing clients in the banking and financial sectors.

Mr. Yu is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
