Gaunichaux v. Middletown (USDC – 2016): Plaintiff filed suit against the City of Middletown as a result of his arrest, during which he claims that Middletown police officers subjected him to excessive force. The City moved for summary judgment as to all claims in the complaint. The Court granted summary judgment in its entirety, finding that Plaintiff could not sue the City of Middletown for the alleged unconstitutional conduct of its employees.
